The MyTireMonkey application is a secure platform that only each Tire Dealer, or its authorized designees, can access. Our Dealers retain all rights in their MyTireMonkey Application content, which is information provided by each Dealer and integrated into their online profile.

In recognition of the competition that exists within and among the tire industry, all Dealers, Dealer related pricing information and any other confidential proprietary information provided by our Dealers to MyTireMonkey, shall be utilized solely by MyTireMonkey and Consumer’s utilizing MyTireMonkey to request a quote for tires and/or service and shall not be disclosed to any third party.

The Site contains links to other web sites. MyTireMonkey is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites.

All Dealer financial and billing information that we collect through MyTireMonkey is used solely to bill for the Service.

The MyTireMonkey name, the MyTireMonkey logo, and the product names associated with this Service are trademarks of MyTireMonkey or third parties, and no right or license is granted to use them.

PROTECTING THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN

Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, email addresses, and phone numbers) over the Internet, to us or to anyone else. Our website is not directed at children under 18 and we won't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to provide us any personally identifying information; if you're under 18, please don't provide any information about yourself on this website.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we gather falls into two categories: (1) information supplied by visitors to the site when they perform a search or inquire about a tire for sale or about another product or service offered through our website; and (2) tracking information gathered as visitors navigate through our website and review our email newsletters and other email messages. If you elect to send the dealer an email through our website, we'll share with the dealer the contact information you supply through our online "Request For Quote" form. If you do not wish to share your email address or other contact information with a dealer who advertises on our website, you should not use our "Request For Quote" contact form.

Online Surveys From time to time, we survey our users to measure their satisfaction with our site and other sites and to help us learn more about our audience and how they interact with our site. Third-party research firms often conduct these surveys on our behalf. We use the survey results to help us improve the services we offer to you. Except in the circumstances described below in the "Other Disclosures" section of this policy, we will not share, without your consent, any personally-identifying information you submit in response to a MyTireMonkey survey with any company other than the research firm conducting the survey. We will, however, take the information you provide and aggregate it on an anonymous basis with data collected from other survey participants. SECURITY

MyTireMonkey is a subscription service for Tire Retail Dealers and is provided to Consumers (“Buyers”) at no cost. Consumers utilize MyTireMonkey strictly as a search engine to search for Dealers and send them Request For Quotes. No transactions between Dealers and Consumers to purchase goods or services are conducted directly through MyTireMonkey and therefore no Consumer credit card or personal financial information is collected directly by MyTireMonkey related to our Consumer users.

Information we gather on our website is stored within MyTireMonkey-controlled databases (or databases hosted on our behalf) on servers maintained in protected environments. MyTireMonkey utilizes Rackspace to host our application and your database. Rackspace is the number one IT hosting solution in the industry. It maintains the servers, updates and administers them, provides redundancy, and backs up your data every day. Rackspace guarantees your data is secure and always available to you, with a “100% network uptime guarantee” with their 4 US data centers.

Any Dealer credit card or financial information you provide us is secured for transmission over the Internet using industry-standard secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption. However, no physical or electronic security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our servers or databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. And, of course, any information you include in a tire listing is available to anyone with Internet access.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

The web is an evolving medium. If we need to change our privacy policy at some point in the future, we'll post the changes to this Privacy Statement on this website and update the reference to the effective date to reflect the date of the amendment.
